About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Control Specialist to lead our project cost and schedule efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project controls plans, managing change requests, and ensuring overall project status is assessed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project controls plans to ensure accurate tracking of costs and schedules.
  • Manage change requests and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project data and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including executive summaries and detailed analyses.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of project data and deliverables.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a focus on cost control and schedule control achievements.
  • Certification in project management from a recognized organization (e.g., Primavera, PMI, AACE) is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management best practices framework and key work processes.
