Warehouse Lead Job Description

At TalentSphere Staffing Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and facilities department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the warehouse and facilities team, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Develop and implement new operational policies, procedures, and processes to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of returns.
  • Oversee and participate in warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility and grounds to identify any necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Manage all repairs and maintenance projects from start to finish, within budget and on schedule.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years warehouse leadership experience.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse worker, team leader, or similar role.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or a WMS is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Analytical and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to Have:
  • Experience doing warehouse returns testing.
  • Experience with consumer electronics.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration.
