Localization Specialist with Indonesian Language Expertise

About the RoleWe're seeking an Indonesian Localization QA Tester to join our team in Montreal. This is an on-call position, and training will be provided for those without prior experience. As a Localization QA Tester, you'll be responsible for testing games in various languages, including Indonesian, to identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues.
Key Responsibilities- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Indonesian
- Identify translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Report errors in a clear and concise manner using a bug-tracking database and/or translation document
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in Indonesian
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
- Starting salary set at 17 CAD/hour
