About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Localization QA Tester with expertise in Latvian language to join our team in Montreal. As a Localization QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing video games and verifying all text, images, and voice-over components in Latvian. Your eagle eyes will help us identify linguistic, visual, and cultural issues, and you will report errors in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities- Test video games and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Latvian
- Find translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video games
- Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Native-level language competency in Latvian
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
- Starting salary set at 17 CAD/hour
