Marvell Technology is a leading provider of semiconductor solutions for the data infrastructure market. As a Staff Engineer, Digital IC Design, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-speed digital circuits in our cutting-edge ICs.

The Central Engineering AMS-IP team at Marvell provides innovative SerDes PHY solutions and other Analog Mixed-Signal IPs to support all our products. We are seeking an experienced ASIC design engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation ICs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing, verifying, and evaluating digital circuits in high-speed data communication ICs
  2. Implementing engineering implementation specs from system requirements, RTL design, verification, synthesis, and static timing analysis
  3. Enhancing design methodology and workflow for greater efficiency
  4. Designing RTL for various SerDes IPs with data rates from 10Gbps to 224Gbps for diverse applications
  5. Collaborating with Analog, DSP, Digital Verification, Firmware, and Application Engineering teams to deliver competitive SerDes IP solutions across all product lines
  6. Providing support to product teams, both pre-silicon and post-silicon

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's/PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in fundamental concepts of digital logic design
  • Knowledgeable in digital logic timing analysis
  • Skillful in Verilog/VHDL coding and Lint tools
  • Experience with MAC and PHY integration
  • Experience with silicon validation processes
  • Micro-controller 8051 or ARM Cortex experience
  • Micro-controller firmware experience
  • Skillful in synthesis using Synopsys or Cadence tools
  • Proficient in timing analysis using Primetime
  • Understanding of Design-for-Test (DFT) concepts, including Scan and BIST
  • Strong communication skills and effective team collaboration abilities
  • Motivated and committed to contributing to a highly skilled design team

Our estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
