About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director, Indigenous Trust, you'll provide relationship management and administration oversight for our Indigenous Trusts.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Liaising directly with Indigenous Trust clients to ensure effective management and administration of their Trusts.
  • Building trusted relationships with Indigenous Leaderships, Communities, Trustees, Service Providers, and key stakeholders.
  • Engaging with Indigenous clients regarding the delivery of Trust programs, funding, reporting, communication, and training.

You'll also work closely with Leadership, Community Trustees, and Membership to support the use of their unique Trust structure to advance community goals and ambitions.

In addition, you'll assist the Executive Trust Officer in managing performance, providing fair and accurate feedback, identifying obstacles to performance, and explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities.

This role requires experience working closely with Indigenous communities, demonstrating a commitment to developing innovative solutions that are community-led, and a willingness to learn from Indigenous communities on their journey to using their Trust as a vehicle for sustainable prosperity.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A developed understanding of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and investing sufficient to administer complex Trust Accounts.
  • Exceptional writing skills sufficient to prepare correspondence containing detailed descriptions, explanations, and specialized Estates & Trusts terminology.

You'll also need to be legally eligible to work at the location specified above and have a valid work or study permit.
