Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team at MANITOBA INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising staff, estimating ingredient and supply needs, and ensuring quality control standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of culinary genres and ability to mentor staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality control standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
