About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Operational Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, analyzing financial data to inform operational decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports.
    • Prepare and submit reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Team Management
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient resource allocation.
    • Supervise 1-2 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
