Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Food Corner Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports and establish work schedules
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain a physically demanding work schedule
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a physically demanding work schedule
  • Client focus and team player
