Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Meltwich Food Co. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates, to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and walk.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility.
