Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, managing staff, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
Requirements:
  • Fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and client focus.
  • Team player and dependability.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment and 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
