The Alberta Health Services team in Fort McMurray is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join their dedicated child and youth service team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-informed psychosocial interventions to individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, consult, refer, and provide case management and treatment services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients experiencing mental health difficulties
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide consultation services to clients and families
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
  • Experience working with children and youth in a mental health setting
