Job Summary

Forest View Hospital is seeking a qualified Activity Therapist/Recreation Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing therapeutic activities to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead therapeutic activities to meet the needs of patients with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for patients to participate in activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic activities and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
  • Experience working with patients with mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
