Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team at Headway School Society of Alberta. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic and personal needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Student Learning: Assist students with assignments, reinforce learning concepts, and provide individualized support to help students succeed.
  • Classroom Support: Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, assist with classroom inventory, and monitor student progress.
  • Special Needs Support: Assist students with special needs using techniques such as sign language, braille, and remedial programs.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the school principal with various administrative tasks and provide general support to the school community.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
