About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Service Technician to join our team at Kal Tire's Dartmouth store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service by performing on-site tire service on commercial vehicles according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tire service operations on commercial vehicles by Kal Tire's standards, focusing on precision and efficiency to maintain service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams for seamless maintenance and repair of commercial vehicle equipment, showing a commitment to excellence in all tasks.
  • Demonstrate operational and technical mastery in dismounting and mounting tires for commercial vehicles, following safety protocols and load requirements.
  • Conduct thorough equipment checks, calibrations, and repairs, showcasing expertise in heavy-duty tire servicing equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A valid Driver's License
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services
  • A self-starter dedicated to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and constructive workplace
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50lbs at shoulder height
  • Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures
