Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd. has a Full-time opening for a Commercial/OTR Tire Technician at our Commercial Center on Thornhill Drive in Dartmouth, NS. - Willing to Train

Coast Tire has been in business since 1984 and is considered to be a leader in the Tire Industry and Automotive Aftermarket. We offer a variety of tire and automotive services throughout NB, NS & PEI and we are looking for a self-starter committed to customer service with experience working in the industry.

Qualifications include:

- High School Education preferred
- Valid driver’s license; must be insurable
- Must be physically able to meet requirements of the job ( lift up to 100lbs)
- Must be adaptable and possess excellent oral and communication skills
- Must have a positive attitude, be able to work independently and with others;
- Ability to prioritize multiple objectives while following safe & proper procedures
- Must be organized and able to complete required paperwork

Main Job Duties will include:
The technician must ensure equipment is properly inspected and maintained, ensure it is documented. You will also be responsible to ensure work orders are filled in completely and properly such as recording torque values, tire pressures, tread depths and any problems incurred while completing the work order.

Must be able to determine customer needs and to ensure all services are performed as per company & industry standards. It is essential that you represent the company in a professional and safe manner while working out in the field
