About the Role
Westwood Honda is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction
- Offer a consultative approach to vehicle sales, focusing on customer needs and preferences.
- Greet customers on the sales floor and perform a vehicle needs analysis.
- Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicles.
- Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer databases.
- Track inventory levels and maintain knowledge of current stock.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets of new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Work with Sales Managers and F&I Managers to facilitate sales that benefit the dealership.
- Complete all paperwork and arrange for delivery and registration of vehicles.
- Deliver and familiarize customers with vehicles.
- Complete training and attend department meetings as required.
- Stay up-to-date with competitor products and the automotive market.
Requirements
- Previous Sales Experience
- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems.
- Valid BC Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
