Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Attendant to join our team at Marriott International. As a Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing clear directions and information about property amenities and services.
  • Inform guests of local areas of interest and activities, helping them to make the most of their stay.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and in-room safes.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas, ensuring efficient and secure handling.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience for our guests.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage.
  • Supply guests with directions and arrange transportation as needed, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring they are aware of our parking policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to move, lift, and carry objects in a safe and efficient manner, with minimal risk of injury.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local area attractions and activities, with the ability to provide recommendations to guests.
