Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Hospitality team as a Team/VIP Attendant. This is a part-time, hourly position that requires exceptional service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide premium level of service to VIP guests, including players, executives, and family members of the Vancouver Canucks, as well as other high-profile guests.
- Communicate effectively with service staff, kitchen staff, and bartenders to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Consistently provide exceptional and knowledgeable service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Maintain a premium level of cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Completion of Serving it Right Certificate.
- Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shift and withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time.
- Serving and beverage experience in a premium establishment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM).
- Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025.
- Onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.
- Experience with VIP guests is an asset.
