About this Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimating Student to join our team at PCL Construction. As an Estimating Student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced estimators and gain valuable experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with review and analysis of quantity survey assignments
- Perform assigned quantity surveys and provide quantities to the purchasing department
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and develop relationships with trade contractors
- Participate in bid document control and perform bid day assignments
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
