About the Role

PCL Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimating Student to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As an Estimating Student, you will play a crucial role in supporting our estimating team in preparing bids and estimates for construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing bids and estimates for construction projects
  • Conduct research and gather data to support estimating activities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates and bid documents
  • Collaborate with estimating team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates and bids
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the estimating team lead
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
