Job Summary

SINGH AIR SYSTEM DESIGNER AND SERVICES is seeking a skilled Gas Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Gas Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining gas heating units and their components, as well as assisting emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain gas heating units and their components
  • Assist emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions
  • Attend to gas escape calls
  • Service gas heating units and their components
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Supervise other workers
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
