Gas Installation Specialist

SINGH AIR SYSTEM DESIGNER AND SERVICES is seeking a skilled Gas Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining gas heating units and their components, as well as attending to gas escape calls and assisting emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience in the field. You will be required to study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required, and test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.

We are looking for a Commercial Gas Technician who is accurate, client-focused, dependable, and a team player. If you have a positive attitude and are able to work 40 hours per week, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter, repairing and servicing gas appliances and related equipment, and advising clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain gas heating units and their components
  • Attend to gas escape calls
  • Assist emergency response workers in the investigation of gas fires and explosions

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
