WESTCANA CUSTOM HOMES LTD. is seeking a highly organized and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Notify applicants of selection results and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience in human resources or a related field is an asset.
  • Permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English is required.
