Key Responsibilities- Design and develop cutting-edge automation and instrumentation systems, integrating Industry 4.0 technologies and data analytics to enhance productivity and agility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement instrument protective functions and safeguards to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental protection.
- Lead projects to enhance electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control functions of critical manufacturing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including instrument specifications, I/O lists, and control narratives.
- Work closely with employees and management to ensure seamless integration of disparate systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
- Experience in powder handling is preferred.
- Understanding and familiarity of API, ASME, CSA, AER, and ISA codes and directives.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) is an asset.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to envision and execute transformative automation strategies.
- Global perspective with an understanding of cultural nuances and adaptability.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and facilitate individually and at the team level.
