Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cutting-edge automation and instrumentation systems, integrating Industry 4.0 technologies and data analytics to enhance productivity and agility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement instrument protective functions and safeguards to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Lead projects to enhance electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control functions of critical manufacturing systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including instrument specifications, I/O lists, and control narratives.
  • Work closely with employees and management to ensure seamless integration of disparate systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience in powder handling is preferred.
  • Understanding and familiarity of API, ASME, CSA, AER, and ISA codes and directives.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) is an asset.
