Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Controls Specialist to join our team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will work closely with our automation and controls team to design, commission, and maintain control systems, including PLC and SCADA programming.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Programming experience with various automation software and hardware
  • Ability to travel for maintenance and commissioning tasks
  • Availability for emergency support of PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications

Prefered Qualifications:

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGA/ASET
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Background in electrical & instrumentation systems
  • Experience with municipal & industrial process systems
  • Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity
  • Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package.
