We are Excelsior Logistics Ltd., a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics company. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, managing staff, and ensuring seamless communication within the team. This is a critical role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Team Coordination: Coordinate information flow among team members, ensuring effective communication and minimizing delays.
- Daily Operations: Direct daily operations, making informed decisions to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Staff Management: Direct staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance performance.
- Motivation and Development: Motivate staff, providing training and development opportunities to help them grow professionally.
- Financial Management: Plan and control expenditures, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Record meeting minutes, maintaining accurate records of discussions and decisions.
- Office Procedures: Determine office procedures, establishing protocols to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments, managing diaries and calendars to ensure smooth workflow.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts, negotiating terms and conditions to secure favorable deals.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Data Analysis: Compile data, analyzing information to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Reporting: Oversee report preparation, ensuring that accurate and timely reports are submitted to stakeholders.
- Advice and Guidance: Advise senior management, providing expert advice and guidance on key business issues.
- Clients and Customers: Provide customer service, consulting with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, assessing employee performance and providing feedback for improvement.
- Independence: Ability to work independently, making decisions and taking action without supervision.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Pressure and Deadlines: Work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and delivering results on time.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, completing routine duties efficiently and effectively.
- Large Workload: Manage a large workload, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to meet business needs.
- Minimal Supervision: Work with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
