As a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, qualifying, and preparing candidates for IT roles while supporting other recruiters to achieve outstanding results.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and experienced in working with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms like TextKernal built on Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Sourcing: Conduct full lifecycle recruitment for IT positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms.
  • Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines to ensure a steady flow of top-tier candidates for current and future needs.
  • Team Collaboration and Force Multiplication: Partner with and support other recruiters by assisting in sourcing, qualifying, and preparing candidates.
  • Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to enhance team recruiting capabilities.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Meet with job candidates weekly to build strong relationships and provide career guidance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients to understand their hiring needs, provide updates on search progress, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Attend client meetings and on-site visits as needed in the Vancouver area.
  • Strategic Recruitment Initiatives: Develop and implement long-term recruitment strategies, including talent pipelining and pooling.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruiting methods.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a full lifecycle recruiter, preferably in the IT staffing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS platforms (TextKernal and Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Ability to mentor and support other recruiters to improve team performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to implement long-term recruiting initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being available for local travel within Vancouver.
  • Knowledge of the Vancouver IT job market is a strong asset.
