Kitchen Assistant Job Description

At Alberta Ltd., we are seeking a reliable and skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation and cooking.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
