Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Comfort Inn Edmundston. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, demonstrating a strong understanding of our operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence to facilitate transportation and travel.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
  • Work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
