As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including Cummins, Detroit, Freightliner, International, Volvo, GMC, and Ford.

**Job Summary:**

The Heavy Duty Technician Lead will provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, ensuring the highest level of vehicle repair and maintenance standards are met. You will be expected to diagnose complex issues, perform repairs, and maintain accurate records of work completed.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing advanced diagnostic tests on heavy-duty vehicles to identify faults and determine necessary repairs;
  • Collaborating with senior technicians and supervisors to develop and implement solutions for complex repair issues;
  • Mentoring junior technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their job duties safely and effectively;
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with manufacturer specifications;
  • Providing excellent customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

**Requirements:*

  • Demonstrated experience as a heavy duty technician with a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance;
  • Certification from a recognized industry organization (e.g., ASE, TIA) or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically;
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
