Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
About the JobAs a Heavy Vehicle Technician, you will be working on a variety of tasks, including inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and diagnosing faults and malfunctions. You will also be responsible for completing reports to record problems and work performed, as well as coaching and instructing apprentices.
Requirements- A trades certificate or diploma in a relevant field such as automotive service technology or truck and transport mechanics is required.
- 1-6 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Our estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
