We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Transactions Coordinator to join our team in Brampton, Ontario.

This role is primarily responsible for processing utility and expense invoices (including employee expense reports) for payment, ensuring that disbursements are valid, properly approved, and coded to the correct general ledger account(s). We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $55,000 - $65,000 CAD, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Compiling and maintaining accurate Accounts Payable records
  • Analyzing data and identifying discrepancies
  • Investigating and taking corrective action
  • Creating journal entries at month-end as assigned
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Reconciling vendor statements, ensuring all invoices are processed and credits are properly processed and taken

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong attention to detail combined with high sense of urgency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should have an accounting degree or diploma/certification from a 2-year college program with 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A high-volume environment (100+ invoices/day) is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is also necessary. If you are a team player with a strong desire to learn and grow with our company, please consider applying.
