Main Responsibilities

As a Project Quality and Safety Manager at Alstom, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and implementing project quality plans to meet contract requirements and Alstom processes
  • Conducting criticality assessments of sub-systems to ensure the right level of safety and quality assurance
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure quality contributions to the project
  • Providing quality awareness and training to project teams
  • Supporting project audits, reviews, and approvals of vendor quality systems
Performance Measurements

As a Project Quality and Safety Manager, you will be measured on your ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Your performance will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

  • On-time gate reviews and shared with PMO
  • Number of remaining safety or customer issues to fix after target time agreed
  • Cost of non-quality and speed to solve non-conformities
  • Project performance indicator
  • Snag list and closure of snags
  • NCR closure on-time
Main Required Competences

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with management background
  • Experience in managing quality tools and problem-solving tools
  • Awareness of processes and products delivered in the project
  • Fluent in English
Desirable Competences

The following competences are desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of railway industry norms and certifications
  • Experience in quality/audit
