Critical Care Paramedic Role

Critical Care Paramedics with destinationone Consulting provide advanced care to critically ill patients during emergency medical transports. They utilize specialized equipment and techniques to stabilize patients en route to medical facilities.

  • Perform advanced assessments and interventions for critically ill patients.

  • Administer medications and therapies as needed.

  • Monitor and manage complex medical equipment.

  • Coordinate with hospitals for critical care transfer protocols.

  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements for Success

  • Advanced paramedic training with specialization in critical care.

  • State certification/licensure as a paramedic.

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
