Arista Networks is a leading provider of software-driven cloud networking solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Expert to join our team as a Technical Solutions Specialist.
About the Role
This role involves providing post-sales support for Arista products, focusing on CloudVision Portal (CVP / CVaaS). The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex customer environments.
Responsibilities
- Post-sales support for Arista products, with a focus on CloudVision Portal (CVP / CVaaS)
- Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email
- Resolve customer concerns raised during installation, operation, and maintenance, as well as product application or compatibility inquiries
- Troubleshoot problems with hardware/software applications and recommend corrective action
- Document customer communication and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-10 years' experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and/or administering network protocols and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-10 years hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and/or administering network protocols and technologies
- Expert technical knowledge in several areas, including Network management platforms, DevOps platforms, APIs (JSON, gRPC etc.), scripting (Python, etc.) and UI/UX workflows
- General knowledge preferred in Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, Protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP; etc.)
- Working experience with Server virtualization highly desired (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, etc)
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Tcpdump and Wireshark are highly desired
- Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, shell) highly desired
- Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) highly desired
- Overlay platforms VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI highly desired
- Linux OS navigation required
- Ansible, Terraform
- Public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $85,000 to $150,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, we provide benefits including medical, dental, vision, well-being, income protection, and a Group Retirement Savings Plan.
