Job Overview

Arista Networks is a leading provider of software-driven cloud networking solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Expert to join our team as a Technical Solutions Specialist.

About the Role

This role involves providing post-sales support for Arista products, focusing on CloudVision Portal (CVP / CVaaS). The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex customer environments.

Responsibilities

  1. Post-sales support for Arista products, with a focus on CloudVision Portal (CVP / CVaaS)
  2. Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email
  3. Resolve customer concerns raised during installation, operation, and maintenance, as well as product application or compatibility inquiries
  4. Troubleshoot problems with hardware/software applications and recommend corrective action
  5. Document customer communication and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-10 years' experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and/or administering network protocols and technologies.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 1-10 years hands-on experience in designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and/or administering network protocols and technologies
  2. Expert technical knowledge in several areas, including Network management platforms, DevOps platforms, APIs (JSON, gRPC etc.), scripting (Python, etc.) and UI/UX workflows
  3. General knowledge preferred in Ethernet, VLANs, IP routing, TCP/IP, Multicast, Protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, PIM, IGMP; etc.)
  4. Working experience with Server virtualization highly desired (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, etc)
  5. Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Tcpdump and Wireshark are highly desired
  6. Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, shell) highly desired
  7. Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) highly desired
  8. Overlay platforms VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI highly desired
  9. Linux OS navigation required
  10. Ansible, Terraform
  11. Public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD $85,000 to $150,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, we provide benefits including medical, dental, vision, well-being, income protection, and a Group Retirement Savings Plan.
