Job Title: Shift Manager - Restaurant Operations Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to lead our restaurant operations team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring seamless execution of our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Conduct regular inventory and stock checks to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, food safety, and customer service standards.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
