Job Title: Truck Operations Manager

Trans 99 logistics is seeking a highly skilled Truck Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our truck fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and dispatchers
  • Monitor and optimize route planning and scheduling to minimize delays and maximize productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work methods and productivity
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
