Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual IT Support Specialist to join our team at Hyundai Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide technical support and maintenance for our IT systems, including software and hardware, to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for IT systems, including software and hardware.
  • Triage and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deploy and configure desktops and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions at the desktop level and occasionally at the network and server level.
  • Perform moves, adds, and changes of computer equipment.
  • Provide user support for business applications and communication systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure maintenance, changes, and projects.

Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant secondary school diploma and college diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar function, with automotive experience being desirable.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Knowledge of desktop security best practices and ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with MS Windows, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Exchange 2016, Windows File Shares, and Windows update.
  • Experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting, OS and application installation and troubleshooting, and mobile device configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with desktop management tools and utilities, including Symantec End Point Protection, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, and In Tune.
  • Highly developed skills in customer service.
