Director, Corporate Financial Planning

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is a leading electricity generation company seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead its corporate financial planning efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated business planning and performance management processes that align with OPG's strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing financial expenditures and preparing consolidated budgets
  • Conducting comprehensive economic studies and providing critical financial analysis and insights to senior executives
  • Leading the development of corporate-wide business planning and performance management processes
  • Driving change and ensuring the organization's alignment with its strategic goals

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in economic studies, budgeting, and financial analysis, with experience in providing strategic financial insights to senior executives.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (or a related field) is required, with professional certification such as CPA, CA, or Master's degree or MBA preferred.
