Director, Business Planning and Reporting

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is a leading electricity generation company seeking a seasoned financial professional to join their team as a Director, Business Planning and Reporting.

This high-impact role will support the Vice President, Business Planning and Reporting in overseeing financial expenditures, preparing consolidated budgets, and conducting comprehensive economic studies.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in economic studies, budgeting, and financial analysis, with demonstrated experience in providing strategic financial insights to senior executives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing corporate financial initiatives
  • Driving continuous improvement in planning processes
  • Structuring integrated business planning and performance management processes
  • Coordinating across organizational units and external stakeholders

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (or a related field), and professional certification such as CPA, CA, or Master's degree or MBA.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader and agent of change, adept at driving strategic initiatives and investment proposals, and providing critical financial analysis and insights to the CFO and President.
