Director, Business Planning and Reporting

About the Role

Odgers Berndtson is partnering with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to find a seasoned financial professional to fill the role of Director, Business Planning and Reporting. This high-impact position will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a leading energy provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Vice President, Business Planning and Reporting in overseeing financial expenditures and preparing consolidated budgets.
  • Conduct comprehensive economic studies and provide critical financial analysis and insights to the CFO and President.
  • Lead the development of integrated corporate-wide business planning and performance management processes.
  • Drive change and ensure the organization's alignment with its strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Robust background in economic studies, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic financial insights to senior executives.
  • Ability to benchmark and assess business performance.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing corporate financial initiatives.
  • Proactive leadership and ability to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
