Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2467980 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Develop and implement efficient food preparation methods to meet high-quality standards.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring timely and accurate food preparation and presentation.
  • Staff Management
    • Train and develop food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including budget and cost estimates.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The physical demands of this role require a high level of energy and stamina.
