Job Title: Technical Lead - Contaminated Sites/Waste Management, Infrastructure Sector

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team in the Infrastructure Sector, specializing in Contaminated Sites and Waste Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and project management for environmental remediation and excess soil planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and project management for environmental remediation and excess soil planning projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering or similar programs.
  • 15+ years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in environmental laws and regulations within the Ontario jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K and/or as a project manager or a technical designer.
  • 10 completed projects under O.Reg. 406/19, having prepared or reviewed Assessment of Past Uses Reports, Soil Analysis Plans, Soil Characterization reports; and/or implemented excess soil planning and monitoring during construction.
  • Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work products.
  • Strong project management acumen to deliver projects within schedule and budgets.
