We are seeking an experienced and skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).
About the JobThis is a permanent position, requiring 35 hours of work per week. As a Thoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders, conducting medical research, and treating patients with various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
- Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
- Treat diseases, injuries, and deformities
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
- 5 years or more of experience
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $250,000 and $350,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and professional liability insurance.
