Thoracic Imaging Opportunity


The University of Toronto invites applications for a Radiologist in Thoracic Imaging to join our team at the Department of Medical Imaging.


About the Position


The successful candidate will work across all thoracic imaging modalities, including CXR, CT and MRI, and lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds as well as resident and fellows teaching rounds.


Responsibilities



  • Teach medical students, radiology residents and cardiothoracic fellows
  • Participate in the on-call rotation program
  • Lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds
  • Work across all thoracic imaging modalities

Requirements



  • MD or equivalent
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
  • Eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • At least one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging
  • Eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor

Compensation


Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.


Compensation is based on a fee-for-service model. The estimated income will be $300,000 per annum for a full-time equivalent with opportunity for increased salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials.
