About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op/Intern to join our Assurance team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, develop your technical skills, and gain valuable experience in the accounting industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research and gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, responding to their requests and suggestions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
Requirements
  • Currently working towards a degree or diploma in Accounting.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Desire to provide outstanding client service and commitment to teamwork.
