Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Lending Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the insurance lending market. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales leadership, a deep understanding of insurance lending products, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive business growth in the insurance lending market.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and persistency in the insurance lending market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify personal and career development goals and provide coaching and guidance to support their growth and development.
  • Monitor sales results and activity, and direct the sales team to address opportunities and develop new markets and expand existing ones.
  • Promote cross-channel sales opportunities and foster a strong referral culture within the sales team.
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic account management principles and territory rotation to drive sales growth and improve customer relationships.
  • Manage recruiting and hiring to ensure a strong pool of candidates through ongoing relationship management.
  • Collaborate with peers and senior management to define and evolve strategic account management principles and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education.
  • 10+ years of face-to-face sales experience, with 5+ years in the insurance industry.
  • 5+ years of sales management, coaching, and leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of different insurance lending products and life insurance.
  • Established network in the financial services industry, specifically in the insurance/MGA channel.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Solid understanding of strategic account management principles.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance industry and insurance-related products, financial and estate planning, and insurance distribution channels.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning tools.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory and compliance issues.
