Job Title: Front Desk Hotel Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team at Westport Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reservation Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments to ensure accurate and efficient room allocation.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as outlined by the hotel.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties such as faxing, filing and photocopying as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
