Food and Beverage Events Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Events Associate to join our team at Casino Niagara. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar section, ensuring a high level of presentation and quality
  • Greet guests approaching concession stands and bars in a polite and professional manner
  • Process payments using a cash register for credit/debit and manual cash transactions
  • Follow proper sanitation guidelines and assist with set up/tear down of the concession stand and bars
  • Develop a strong knowledge of available products, including prices and promotions
  • Work safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Stay up-to-date on all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Be flexible to support a 24/7 operation

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is considered an asset
  • Smart Serve certification is required
  • Basic mathematical skills, including balancing, additions, and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred
